MADance Screen Salon Submissions

The MADance Screen Salon is accepting for 3 main areas of programming

The Main MAD will showcase fully completed shorts from mid-level career and established dance & movement filmmakers from Canada and abroad.

Emerging/Student MAD will showcase fully completed shorts from emerging/student dance & movement filmmakers from Canada and abroad.

Submission Materials: See application forms for specific submission criteria

* Materials will only be returned if applicant includes a self addressed stamped envelope.
* All submissions require the completed application form and $15 CDN admin fee (per entry)
Submission Deadline: August 1, 2009 (Postmarked)

Send submissions to 734 Euclid Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M6G 2V2 by August 1, 2009
Cheques payable to MADance Screen Salon (All fees must be paid in Canadian dollars)

Installation MAD - The MADance Screen Salon will include a film-related multimedia installation as part of their programming.

Encouraging the development of the dance-on-film community in Canada and abroad, we invite filmmakers, choreographers, artists and film-buffs to submit their work to one or more of our screenings listed. It is the MADance Screen Salon's mandate to celebrate the work of emerging and established artists engaged in the creation of movement and dance inspired film.

After two successful years, the MADance Screen Salon returns to Toronto.
The MADance Screen Salon will celebrate movement inspired film from across North America!
A stimulating program of THREE dance on film screenings make up the 2009 MADance Screen Salon Programming: The Main MAD, Emerging/Student MAD, and Installation MAD - a film-related installation.

Encouraging the development of the dance-on-film community in Canada and abroad, we invite filmmakers, choreographers, artists and film-buffs to submit their work to one or more of our screenings listed. It is the MADance Screen Salon's mandate to celebrate the work of emerging and established artists engaged in the creation of movement and dance inspired film.

We are now accepting applications for the following categories:

1. The Main MAD
2. Emerging/Student MAD
3. Installation MAD
